CrossFit Solano Kids

  • CrossFit Kids (CFK) combines gymnastics, body weight calisthenics, and weightlifting elements to develop capacity across ten general physical skills: cardio-respiratory endurance, power, strength, stamina, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, accuracy, and co- ordination. The elements are combined to keep children engaged and entertained, while teaching them proper movement technique and creating a broad athletic foundation. For CFK, it is imperative to pair fitness and fun, to create a lifelong love of health and fitness for our children.

As a mother, I felt that it was important to post this policy. I would hate to see any of the already incoming children get hurt. Yesterday, Carl was lifting 225lbs over his head. A few times he had to drop it on the floor. Had my daughter been running around during this, she could have been seriously hurt.

Please take all of this in to consideration. While I love seeing how cute your babies are--because they've all been super adorbale--I don't want anything to happen to them.

Kaela uses the pack-n-play and it works great. She plays inside with the toys I have left in there for all kids to use. I check on her from time to time and keep snacks handy.

Also keep in mind that the winter months are here and it tends to get chilly in our box--especially with a fan blowing at full force for our CrossFitters. Keep them warm if you bring them.

If we develop enough interest, I can put together a "mommy and me" type class. We could also offer a kids class if enough interest is generated. Just keep in mind that we are still a new gym and this will take time.

*Cheers*
Sakura
