Notice about Kids: We like to consider our gym "kid friendly". Though, we ask that if you bring your children, to please have a friend or family member present to keep an eye on them. Our gym is small and often crowded. We have heavy weights being lifted and thrown down, equipment that can fall if a child plays with it and we are located in the midst of moving traffic. We do not have a designated room or personnel to watch your children. The trainers are there specifically to train you and not watch your children. Please keep this in mind should you decide to bring your children. We do have a pack-n-play available for children under the age of 2 and under 35lbs.

As a mother, I felt that it was important to post this policy. I would hate to see any of the already incoming children get hurt. Yesterday, Carl was lifting 225lbs over his head. A few times he had to drop it on the floor. Had my daughter been running around during this, she could have been seriously hurt.
Please take all of this in to consideration. While I love seeing how cute your babies are--because they've all been super adorbale--I don't want anything to happen to them.
Kaela uses the pack-n-play and it works great. She plays inside with the toys I have left in there for all kids to use. I check on her from time to time and keep snacks handy.
Also keep in mind that the winter months are here and it tends to get chilly in our box--especially with a fan blowing at full force for our CrossFitters. Keep them warm if you bring them.
If we develop enough interest, I can put together a "mommy and me" type class. We could also offer a kids class if enough interest is generated. Just keep in mind that we are still a new gym and this will take time.
*Cheers*
