CrossFit Solano Kids

  • CrossFit Kids (CFK) combines gymnastics, body weight calisthenics, and weightlifting elements to develop capacity across ten general physical skills: cardio-respiratory endurance, power, strength, stamina, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, accuracy, and co- ordination. The elements are combined to keep children engaged and entertained, while teaching them proper movement technique and creating a broad athletic foundation. For CFK, it is imperative to pair fitness and fun, to create a lifelong love of health and fitness for our children.

1. are they hiring? and 2. i see a male road trip to az

Josh

I have seen that establishment in person along with Cindy, Pizza Knight, Dave and Nikki. Cindy and Nikki were adamant we eat there however taking the higher moral ground Dave, Bob, and I insisted that we not partake in an establishment that thrives from the peddling of flesh. We ate at Hooters instead.

Freaking gross...

Good Morning everyone~ Just wanted to let you know I left a note on the board, the Climb Ca. is this Saturday March 28, 2009. We are still in need of donations to reach our goal. I have placed a jar on top of the lockers, here is the link for online donations: https://www.kintera.org/faf/search/searchTeamPart.asp?ievent=293857&lis=1&kntae293857=38305EDDB808435DBBA274A47402A13F&supId=0&team=3318287&cj=Y
Please make it to the general team.
For those that leave checks at the gym, I will divide it evenly for everyone so all climbers reach their goal.

We will be taking the Ferry from Vallejo to SF- I will have time info. later.

Thank you all for your support. For those of you not signed up, you still can! Join: https://www.kintera.org/faf/home/waiver.asp?ievent=293857&lis=1&kntae293857=38305EDDB808435DBBA274A47402A13F&jt=3318287&teamsName=CrossFit+Solano

quadruple bypass is a fitting name for something so disgusting....Obviously, some people go there for the novelty of the restaurant(oh, and the "nurses" too), but there were seriously overwieght people in that video too....and that's just sad...

I think Steve is up for a roadtrip....

 Liz

i am speechless....................
how sad that people would want to do this to their bodies.

Lo

Hey LIZ! So, do you have plans Saturday? There is a pretty cool event happening in the city...

BTW- Gizzle deploys AGAIN. This time much longer (I believe AF Mike told me 65 days), he leaves Sunday.

saki

OMG I LOVE SUNDAY MORNING! hehe. i grew up watching it with my dad.

Anywho. Let's go! I think I could only do a single but that Coke looks soooo good. =]

Hey Guys/Gals...

Lori posted a great comment on Saturday's posting in regards to the fallen Oakland Officers that we lost...If you have not read it I think it is an awsome comment that everyone should read...with that being said....

Today Angry Angela approached me and had antother suggestion that I'm gonna throw out there to you all...

In reference to a tribute WOD to the fallen Officers Angry suggested that we do it as a FUND Raiser for the families maybe min $5 to as much as you want as a donation to them to participate in the wod....we could then make this donation to the families....

I was thinking instead of doing it as a single one time event (like FGB) maybe if we have enough volunteers/staff we could run it for an ENTIRE day and invite surrouning Police Departments/CF gyms and stuff....maybe even make a bigger event and include a BBQ or Pot luck....Angry and Aimee already told me that they would be more than happy to volunteer their time...

sorry so long just thought I would throw it out there....great suggestions guys....

Please post comments/thoughts

STAY STRONG AND STAY SAFE......

We're in! As always, let me know what needs to get done and I'm on it like white on rice! (p.s. rice is very high on the glycemic index...eat in moderation...and yes, this means the Asians and perhaps even the Mexicans)

Angry Angela

i am sure we can get the surrounding police departments and cf gyms to participate!

Julia Goolia

I think this is a fantastic idea and am down to help in all ways possible. Thank you Angela for coming up with the idea and Jeff for making the post.

Alex

Rested with a nice 5k through the hills of Martinez...with a little additional weight in the form of Kaela Boo in the jogging stroller. Dang. She's getting heavier and harder to push uphill!!! 24:33 Whew! My hams are sore kinda.

Lisa C.

I'm in on the volunteering for the fallen officers. Let me know what I can do as well,
