Alright the BBQ's are over, the beer cans have been crushed, the chips and salsa are all eaten, my ears are still ringing from the fireworks but its time to get back to training. Having the last two days off has left me itching to pick some weight up and throw it around but I guess I will have to wait until Monday. I think when we get home Lo and I are going to do today's WOD just to sweat out the weekend. It's sick I really miss the atmosphere around the gym when we are on the road and I'm looking forward to seeing all your sweaty, uh, er, smiling faces come Monday. Until then:
WOD 070509:
"GRIFF"
RUN 800 M Forward
RUN 400 M Backward
RUN 800 M Forward
RUN 400 M Backward
***if you are having serious CrossFit withdraws you can go down to the gym to keep your times consistant, mind you no trainers are going to be there but you can pretend we are there to motivate you***
WE MISS EVERYBODY JUST HANGING AROUND

Weird...I am literally itching to go to the gym.

I haven’t been very regular with my workouts or my zone for the past week, been very busy. I woke up this morning determined to change that. I had a nice zone breakfast and then did Cindy in the garage. I almost tied my PR, was short by 5 pull-ups. I know if I had been at CFS, I wodda gone way over the top. I miss you goobers!

I finally made up my 5K!! Steve and I ran a route around our neighborhood. I think it was a little shorter than a 5K, but its not flat either, so I think the hills made up for it. We didn't take a watch, but I think I did it faster than last time, plus I didn't stop at all so that was an accomplishment for me! When we got home we did the push-up, sit-up WOD and even got three of the kids to do it with us! we're going to do the 400m run, 21 burpee WOD today. Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

That is awesome Suz! I figured some of these wods could be turned into family fun time, hope the kids enjoyed it.
