CrossFit Solano Kids

  • CrossFit Kids (CFK) combines gymnastics, body weight calisthenics, and weightlifting elements to develop capacity across ten general physical skills: cardio-respiratory endurance, power, strength, stamina, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, accuracy, and co- ordination. The elements are combined to keep children engaged and entertained, while teaching them proper movement technique and creating a broad athletic foundation. For CFK, it is imperative to pair fitness and fun, to create a lifelong love of health and fitness for our children.

No. That's just the poison oak.

I haven’t been very regular with my workouts or my zone for the past week, been very busy. I woke up this morning determined to change that. I had a nice zone breakfast and then did Cindy in the garage. I almost tied my PR, was short by 5 pull-ups. I know if I had been at CFS, I wodda gone way over the top. I miss you goobers!

Suz

I finally made up my 5K!! Steve and I ran a route around our neighborhood. I think it was a little shorter than a 5K, but its not flat either, so I think the hills made up for it. We didn't take a watch, but I think I did it faster than last time, plus I didn't stop at all so that was an accomplishment for me! When we got home we did the push-up, sit-up WOD and even got three of the kids to do it with us! we're going to do the 400m run, 21 burpee WOD today. Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

DJ

That is awesome Suz! I figured some of these wods could be turned into family fun time, hope the kids enjoyed it.
