CrossFit Solano Kids

  • CrossFit Kids (CFK) combines gymnastics, body weight calisthenics, and weightlifting elements to develop capacity across ten general physical skills: cardio-respiratory endurance, power, strength, stamina, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, accuracy, and co- ordination. The elements are combined to keep children engaged and entertained, while teaching them proper movement technique and creating a broad athletic foundation. For CFK, it is imperative to pair fitness and fun, to create a lifelong love of health and fitness for our children.

It's going to be a long workout.

Congrats to the winners and hansen is alot of poop I think I might call in sick for this one

Bryan

Wait...30 KB swings 2 FU**ING POOD x 5 rounds? There must be some kind of typo here...

Perhaps you meant 1.5 pood for dudes x 3 rounds...that sounds better.

Oh and congrats Bob and Suz...you're both looking super hot these days.

....wait, was that gay?

gizzzzle

good job b.night you are almost out of B.A.F.G.A for good.

aimee

Oh good I'm a big ol jerk for calling him poop...how does that happen. I'm not gonna mention that Saki started it :0) lol

Julia Goolia

Hansen and I were going to have a date this morning but I woke up too late (stayed up too late cuz of the No Doubt concert :)! It's been almost a month since I've CFed so yes, I was prepared to get my bootie handed to me. Aimee, I'd meet you there tomorrow morning for our comeback :) to CFS but I'm tied up all morning. Let me know how it goes! You should make up Hansen! :)
Good job (I can't say congrats - Bob will get pissed at me again!) to Bob and Congrats :) to Suz!! Awesome job you guys. Treat yourself to something nice with that $100. You deserve it!

Cindy

Thanks Maris.
It is good to see the story behind the name...even though now you made us feel bad for our comments.
I am with Bryan though. There must be a typo.
I am sure it should be 1 pood for girls and 3 rounds.

Big D aka Slim D aka Big Sexy

GOOD JOB BOB AND SUZ. YOUR HARD WORK PAYED OFF LITERALLY.

Angry

Congrats Suz and Bob! I wonder what Bob will buy his lovely wife with his $100 :)
I too hope to get back to CF on Monday! I too was up late for the No Doubt concert, but I had to wake up at 0430 to get to work by 0600! It was well worth it though. Hope to see everyone very soon.

Kristina "Row Queen"

CRAZY how much one can miss gettin their butt kicked while working out...miss CFS and all the sweaty, smiling faces that huff around the box. Went camping this past week, that is why you didn't see my bandana head walking around...I did manage to take a few hikes that kicked my booty up and down the mountains there. Then having to chase my little niece around was a workout all in itself. Had a wonderful time, it was beautiful in the Redwoods.

CONGRATULATIONS to the BIGGEST/smallest losers! I bet it feels good to lose some weight in your pants and gain some in your wallet ;P

Unfortunately we will be missing all the fun this week too, we just got back last night from our camping trip and this afternoon we will be on our way to where?! DISNEYLAND!!!!!! Whoo hooooo.... See you all hopefully on Friday. Enjoy all the cool WODs that are coming your way.

Lori~ I plan on being there this time....SALSA anyone? Are kids welcome?

LAST but not least~ HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY to ROWBOT, THE BEAST and GRETCHEN hope you all had a great day.

MISS YOU GIZ!

Maris

I am a loser, I didn't finish Hansen. I did vomit when I got home though, I can't seem to vomit at the gym. I guess I am a private vomiter.

"The athlete formerly known as Pizza" - Bob

To all my fans, I say thank you for the kind words and supportive comments. I will cherish my years as the BAFGA (Bay Area Fat Guys Association) president but it is time to move on to other endeavors.

Just Kidding......seriously this thing called CrossFit has really helped me out. When I came to CFS I was pushing 225lbs. with diagnosed high blood pressure, Plantar fasciitis, and constant pain associated with being over weight. With the help of everyone at CFS including trainers and other clients as well as a dialed in diet, many of us have been able see our "former athlete" selves come back (somewhat)! Anyways, I am just happy to be back in the 180's for the first time since college....and now you can refer to me by my former nickname "White Lightning"

Cindy

I think you should still have to sign the bucket Maris. Even if it was at home.
I either have to sneakfit Hansen later with Josh or make it up tomorrow.
I am with my sister today for her birthday.

lo

Maris def. needs to sign the bucket- he was not in good shape laying on the bench with Bubba, I didn't even see him leave! I remember mentioning no resting on the bench and he responded something to the effect of "done" while motioning with his hands he was finished....poor guys, too much fun and boooooooze on the boat I am guessing!

Many battled Hansen today and I believe everyone left hoping to NEVER SEE IT AGAIN! It took somewhere between 45min to an hour. TERRIBLE. I didn't get to do it (saki and rowbot didn't either), but will make it up tomorrow...maybe?!

DJ

"White Lighting" I love it... Having been a card caring member of BAFGA I can feel Bob's pain. The transformation that he, Suz and all of the other folks who competed in the "Biggest Loser" competition made for themselves was remarkable.
You all deserve a round of applause. Really we (coaches) can guide you toward the right food choices, portions, and exercise choices but in the end it all comes down to YOU all wanting to make changes in your life.
I didn't WOD today, first day back on graves, I'm whopped and have an engagement party to attend (please give me strength to stay away from the bad food). I know, I know full of excuses but I'm going to give it a whirl tomorrow although these comments don't seem too encouraging.

Bryan

If a may offer a small nugget of encouragement...for what it's worth, DJ...although this workout sucked BALLS, it wasn't as bad as I expected and the 5th round came before I knew it.

No cool nickname Suz

Thanks everyone for the comments and "congrats." I was truly surprised this morning when I saw that I had won. I didn't think I had improved that much on the wods but I guess my hang cleans helped out. I really think congrats need to go to Lisa and Lori too as I know they were right on my heels. I still have a ways to go but I know I can do it with Crossfit and zone. Crossfit is the easy part though!! I just wish I had a cool nick name like "White Lightning" though!

As for Hansen today....OMG...I would rather do Murph! Steve was only able to do 3 rounds due to having to pick up his daughter so, he is coming in tomorrow morning to do it over...Crazy!
See you all tomorrow..(I'll be there for moral support only. I'm taking my rest day!)

Sampson

Dj I am going to try it out tomorrow
