CrossFit Solano Kids

  • CrossFit Kids (CFK) combines gymnastics, body weight calisthenics, and weightlifting elements to develop capacity across ten general physical skills: cardio-respiratory endurance, power, strength, stamina, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, accuracy, and co- ordination. The elements are combined to keep children engaged and entertained, while teaching them proper movement technique and creating a broad athletic foundation. For CFK, it is imperative to pair fitness and fun, to create a lifelong love of health and fitness for our children.

As he fell, I started laughing but only because it happened in slow motion. Hehe. It brings back so many memories of using bands for HSPUs....

That is exactly how my HSPU's looked in the beginning lol. Cindy is a great wod but it's gonna have to wait for another day for me, I'm wrecked! :)

DJ & Lo,

I talked with Matt via skype tonight & he shared with me that some of the guys that are on this trip with him were razzin him about his CF gear that he wears & how much he talks about it... Well, I thought you might get a kick out this.... ;)

Matt took one of his coworkers to do a CrossFit workout earlier today, who happened to be "curious" what CF was all about. So, Matt gave him a little "sampler"...

Matt had him take a 45 lb plate and had him do 40 feet lunges, 25 air squats, 20 burpees ~ AMRAP in 20 minutes...poor guys legs were "wrecked"...after the workout he ended up puking...LOL ;)

But guess what? He wants to do another workout tomorrow!! So, I'll keep you guys posted on that goes...hehe... Possible new recruit?? We shall see... ;)

Matty P
