CrossFit Solano Kids

  • CrossFit Kids (CFK) combines gymnastics, body weight calisthenics, and weightlifting elements to develop capacity across ten general physical skills: cardio-respiratory endurance, power, strength, stamina, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, accuracy, and co- ordination. The elements are combined to keep children engaged and entertained, while teaching them proper movement technique and creating a broad athletic foundation. For CFK, it is imperative to pair fitness and fun, to create a lifelong love of health and fitness for our children.

Way to go team!!! Lo, you're an inspiration to all. Being pregnant is not easy, adding work, wods, and a 1/2 marathon, that's just super!! From now you shall be known as "super prego"!! :)
By the way how's your foot?

Kenny

Awesome work to all!

Rowbot

Rowbot is so fast!

Rowbot

Seth is so slow!

Rowbot

Sampson is so pink!

Gizzle

sampson

Connie

Awesome job everyone and LO 28 wks pregnant AWESOME!!!!

Maris

Great job you crazy runners! No CFS for me today, mandatory PT test at work.

BEEM

Lo, DJ, and Halie how are you feeling after your very first half marathon? I know my hips are a little sore today. Great job everyone.

Ready to tackle Annie after being out for 3 days. See you all this afternoon.

Lo

Stacey, my hips are very sore and DJ says it's his knees that are bothering him. Either way, we are both glad we did it. I did some stretching but everything still feels very tight. I hope you meant you are tackling Angie and not Annie- they are a little different =)

Maris, I bet you are glad you have PT- that has to be easier/better then a 100 reps of pull-ups/push-ups/sit-ups and squats...no?

Halie

Stacey.. My knees are pretty sore. I want to do todays workout but I have a feeling my squats will be ugly. Other than my knees, just some sore leg and hip muscles. I'm just glad it's over.

DJ

Stacey for me its just my knees. I'm taking the rest day today and I will be back at it tomorrow. Yeah Lo is Super-Prego and extremely tough.
Thanks Saki and Meg for working at the gym yesterday morning so we could run.
A big thank you to Steve, Suz, Syd, Dani, Sean and everybody else for sticking around and cheering everybody across the finish line yesterday. I know you had to wait awhile but it was nice to see a friendly face when we crossed the line.
The 13 miles was not as bad physically as I expected but the mental aspect was tough. It seemed like every mile after mile 9 just got longer, and longer, and longer. CrossFit breeds a desire to not want to quit. Lo and I would see people stopping to stretch, rest etc and we both thought "to hell with that we want to finish." Again thank you everybody for your support.

BEEM

Yeah, Angie I mean. I've never been good with names. I'll call her sweetie from now on.

Lori Lee

Congratulations to all of you runners!!!! Such a feat is simply amazing to me and what a great example for us all ...

I absolutely LOVE the team play and "family" environment here at CFS...whether enjoying each other at a Fight Night and contributing goodies for the cause (thanks again to all--it was a great evening!), at the special tribute WODs or events such as this run,....or every "regular" day in the "box",...the PEOPLE are what makes it extra special!!

OXOXOX
Yodi

Elizabeth (lizzie)

Great job guys! I am so proud of all of you <3

saki

My partner in crime was Cindy this time. Lol. We whooped on Dale, Connie and Kenny. It was brutal. There was blood, sweat and maybe some tears...and a torn hand I think. ;)

Meg

A BIG thanks to Cindy for covering for me yesterday- you are awesome. 8-)

saki

I missed you, Meg. I thought we had something.

Meg

Don't worry Saki- our weekend fling will be back soon. Jason is all good with it.

Cindy

No problem Meghann. I didn't mind at all, but apparently I don't have the same effect on Sakura that you do. I am a little jealous.

sunshine

ya!! ran my first 5k!! got like 47:00 though... only stopped 5 times for like 10 seconds hehe :) good job lo for running a half marathon while your pregnant, and good job dj for running with her!!!

saki

Oh Cindy....you know you are still my tickle muffin. ;)

Lynn T aka: Auntie to be to Caden :)

Lauren - I am deeply touched by your post and can totally sympathize with your overwhelming feeling you felt after crossing that finish line...*sigh* quite a feat!!! Especially at 28 weeks!! Gawd, I am sooo proud of you!! I am signing up for the Shamrock'n Half Marathon next month - I know u & DJ are probably done with half's....but, this one will be for Caden...from me :) XOXO

Halie

Lynn- The Shamrock'n Half Marathon is already sold out! I wanted to do it too.
