I just wanted to shine some light and share my perspective on why I Crossfit.
Many people ask me what I've been doing to get in shape and for the last 29 days I have been doing CrossFit Training. I can confidently say that I am in the Best Shape of my life now more than ever. Although I many not be my lightest weight, I am in the best overall health ever.
Many peoples concerns of CrossFit training is that it could be too expensive or too hard. Well let me share my perspective and experiences.
As far as price is concerned, there is no price you could put on your health. But if you want to get bang for buck, let's compare.
I called a very well known gym for a personal trainer package and here's what you get for the very low price of $649, plus monthly membership fees:
- Fitness Goals interview and evaluations.
- 10- 30 min sessions with a trainer (2 times a week for 5 weeks) Thats a total of 5 Hours in 5 weeks. And the trainers will recommend what you should do when you're not with them.
That's it.
CrossFit Solano's $100 a month will get you:
- Unlimited visits
- A trainer that will teach you proper technique and form available to you EVERY TIME YOU WORK OUT. Yes, EVERY TIME YOU WORK OUT. NOT 2 times a week.
- A set warm up and workout everyday you come in. NO THINKING REQUIRED. Because of this, you will never short change yourself or make any mental shortcuts with your workout regiment.
- Trainers and Fellow CrossFitters that will motivate, encourage, inspire and push you to finish workouts and help get the best out of you EVERY WORKOUT!
- A genuine bond with fellow gym members that will encourage you and motivate you every time you work out. (How many genuine friends do you make at a traditional gym? How many staff members from a traditional gym will check in with you during a workout to make sure your form and technique are correct aside from during a personal training session?
- And many many more intangibles.
So $639 for 10 sessions over 5 weeks only getting genuine attention during your paid sessions, or $100 a month for as many sessions as you want in a month with Trainers to ensure quality and safety every time?
Shoot, For $639, you could Crossfit for 6 and a half months and get crazy results. I've only been doing it for 29 days and the gains are tremendous. So anyways, just wanted to share my perspective with you all about Traditional Gym memberships with personal trainers and The Crossfit Experience. So thanks to all my new Crossfit Family that has been so instrumental in me getting to where I am today when it comes to my physical health. CFS for life.
