There was some confusion today on the proposed new hours. Because of this, we will try the following schedule TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and FRIDAY and see how it plays outs. The goal is to have less congestion in the class. Based on how the next four days play out, we will post SUNDAY 1/29 what class times CFS will offer.
The schedule will be as follows (again TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and FRIDAY ONLY):
5AM
6AM
7AM
10AM
3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
5:15 PM to 6:15 PM (NEW!)
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (NEW!)
6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Hopefully this works out. If not, we'll be back to class on the 30 of every hour (5:30PM and 6:30PM) and will have to come up with another plan.

I'd like to introduce Jill. Jill is a certified yoga instructor and will be offering classes at CrossFit Solano. This Wednesday (1/25) and next Wednesday (2/1) CrossFit Solano will offer yoga from 6:30pm-7:30pm. It will be $3 for CFS members and $5 for non CFS members. Based on interest, we will then add a regular yoga session to the schedule on Saturday's from 11am-12pm. The first class will be Saturday 2/4 and will cost $12 for CFS members and $15 for non CFS members. Each class will focus on a different area of the body specifically helping you improve your mobility in CrossFit movements.
From Jill:
Class Description:
Yoga classes are focused on integrating concentration and breath with strengthening the body while improving flexibility and stamina. "Vinyasa" means "without rest" and vinyasa yoga is commonly seen as "power" or "flow" yoga. Breath is used to connect each movement and to continuously allow the body and mind to focus and relax throughout the challenge. Vinyasa yoga is scalable for all levels, allowing for both modifications and challenges for any condition. Mats are preferred for yoga practice and towels/blankets are always handy for cushion.
Mobility is already a component of your success at CrossFit and dedicating time to increasing flexibility will only increase your performance in your WOD's and simply make you feel better in general. Yoga can help identify your strengths and weaknesses that apply to your workouts or life and how to take advantage or improve those issues. Increasing flexibility directly relates to improving your range of motion which means better movements and better results for the time you spend at CrossFit. As your abilities increase in your progress at CrossFit, yoga helps keep the strong flexible and, most importantly, safe because even with the strongest, those who don't bend will break. Yoga provides the increased physical awareness and proper skeletal alignment that can be applied off the yoga mat in any physical activity. Like Crossfit, the physical challenge that yoga provides is also a mental challenge of the will and ego that helps shape your concentration to allow you consistently and exactly do the very best you can.
